Reporting to: Healthcare Recruitment Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: £30,000 pa + up to £3,000 pa bonus

Contract type: Full time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week across Monday – Sunday 8:00am – 8:00pm 3 Week Rotation

To support this growth, we’re looking for a driven and people-focused Healthcare Recruitment Specialist to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience for our healthcare applicants. In this role, you’ll provide a professional, efficient, and fully compliant recruitment service, ensuring every applicant leaves their interview excited to join Newcross and confident about their next steps. You’ll play a key part in recruiting high-quality healthcare professionals at pace, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer experience. Every interaction you have will shape how candidates perceive Newcross — and you’ll be recognised as a high performer who makes a real difference to our business strategy and continued success.

What will you do? Whilst a full job description can be supplied here are a few of the key responsibilities for the role:

  • Act as the first point of contact and trusted Newcross representative for healthcare and nursing applicants.
  • Deliver an exceptional, engaging, and inclusive candidate experience across phone, video, email, and text.
  • Manage and progress a strong pipeline of applicants, conducting interviews, promoting organisational benefits, and supporting onboarding and technical requirements (including HFGo).
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is completed accurately and in line with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements (including Right to Work, DBS/PVG, and referencing).
  • Achieve and exceed recruitment KPIs and OKRs, including conversion rates, time-to-hire, interview outcomes, and new starter activation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across People Operations, Governance, Support Services, and Operations to ensure candidates are fully prepared for their first shift.
  • Act as a Newcross Brand Ambassador, sharing market insights, contributing to team success, and continually raising recruitment standards.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office 365 and digital recruitment tools.
