Newcross Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants in Sudbury to work in a residential care and nursing home for the elderly. If you have at least six months of paid UK care experience and want reliable work with a trusted provider, we want to hear from you.
Night shifts 21:00-7:30, weekdays and weekends available. This role is more suitable for a driver due to its rural location. There is onsite parking available.
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver person centred care that promotes dignity and independence.
- Support people with daily routines, personal care and mobility aid.
- Provide emotional support and build positive relationships.
- Encourage confidence and safer, more independent living.
What you need:
- Right to work in the UK.
- At least 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last three years, in a professional setting.
- Enhanced background check (e.g. DBS, PVG or AccessNI), or willingness to apply.
- Ability to handle personal care.
- Experience of using moving and handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring approach built on integrity, respect and empathy.
