Your role:

  • As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will provide day to day care, emotional support, and positive role modelling within a residential care setting.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
  • Support daily routines, education, and independence.
  • Help young people manage emotions and behaviours safely.
  • Provide a calm and reliable presence during both positive and challenging situations.
  • Work closely with the wider care team to deliver consistent, high quality care.

What we are looking for:

  • At least six months of paid care experience within the last three years.
  • At least three months’ experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Being a driver and/or having regular access to a vehicle is advantageous as some clients are in remote places away from public transport.
  • A caring, resilient and professional approach.
