Location: Gateshead and Surrounding areas.

Pay: £13.72 to £16.46 per hour (including holiday pay).

Your role

  • You will work in a residential care setting, supporting children with daily life, emotional wellbeing, and guidance.
  • Build positive relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Encourage independence and daily routines.
  • Support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
  • Be a steady and caring presence.

What we are looking for

  • Six months of full-time care experience in the last three years.
  • At least three months’ experience working with children or young people in the last three years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A kind, resilient, and team-focused attitude.
