Tuesday - 15:00 - 19:00 | Wednesday 15:00 - 19:00 | Sunday 09:30 - 14:30 & 15:00 - 19:00 - Applicants will need to be able to commit to working all shift times stated on this advert. Sunday shift - there will be a half an hour break.

About the role

You will be supporting a child in the community who has spastic cerebral palsy and significant neurological injuries, leading to epilepsy and global developmental delay. He thrives with a calm routine and requires:

  • 1:1 support after school
  • Support with daily physiotherapy and developmental activities
  • Support with medication administration
  • Gastrostomy feeds
  • Personal care

This is a long term, consistent placement supporting one client in their own home and within the community.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support.
  • Assist with daily physiotherapy and developmental activities.
  • Administration of medication.
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.

What you need

  • At least six months of paid UK care experience, or relevant personal care experience.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
