Overview
NewCold is a service provider in cold chain logistics with a focus on the development and operation of large, highly automated cold stores. At NewCold, we are shaping the future of the food supply chain. Our warehouses and transport network connect the world’s major food manufacturers with retails and food service providers. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Planner. As a Warehouse Planner you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary work and coordinating all activities as required for the logistical process to run smoothly. You will be responsible for planning the orders and coordinating the logistical activities of NewCold.
Responsibilities
- Using the warehouse management system, in accordance with agreements with clients and hauliers
- Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers
- Monitoring the schedule and making adjustments if necessary
- Maintaining daily contact with clients and hauliers or their representatives on progress, priorities, anomalies and problems
- Identifying anomalies and problems, informing the site manager, agreeing on measures to be taken
- Processing the administrative information relating to the logistical activities
Job Requirements
- Basic Numeracy skills
- Basic English Skills
- Must be computer literate
- Knowledge/Experience of planning within a warehouse or transport environment
