We are seeking a Multiskilled Associate to support the safe and efficient operation of warehouse activities across the site. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are handled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth running of the logistical process and helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: 4/7 day shift (06:00-18:00)
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of warehouse and logistical activities, including completing process orders, loading and unloading vehicles, moving and unstacking pallets, and ensuring goods are correctly labelled and handled.
- Support inventory accuracy by carrying out corrective activities relating to the entry and removal of goods.
- Use warehouse equipment, including forklift and reach trucks where authorised, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping activities, report any anomalies, risks, or accidents, support colleagues where required, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock handling, and health and safety requirements.
- A forklift truck licence is essential, and experience operating warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
- Reliable team player with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to work, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, a focus on quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
