Your role as a Customer Account Coordinator:

As a Customer Account Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for a dedicated customer base. You will ensure that queries are resolved efficiently, that service levels remain consistent, and that both internal and external stakeholders receive clear and accurate information. You will play a key role in driving a positive, customer focused culture across the site. This position suits someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence working with data, and previous experience in a customer facing environment. You will work closely with transport, warehouse, planning, and quality teams to support operational continuity.

Salary: £28,000 per year (DOE). Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 to 16:30).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and submit daily customer reports and KPIs with accuracy and consistency.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and hauliers to ensure delivery expectations are met.
  • Provide customers with timely updates relating to stock, discrepancies, and service issues.
  • Support the management of inbound and outbound quality concerns by ensuring appropriate processes are followed.
  • Monitor customer standards across the site and work with teams to address any deviations.
  • Maintain strong communication channels throughout the site and across external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality and contribute towards continuous improvement.
  • Support operational colleagues where required to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
  • Build productive relationships that promote confidence and clarity for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer facing role within a fast paced operational, logistics, transport or supply chain environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
