  • Job Advert – Operator (4 on / 4 off, Days & Nights)
  • Reporting to: Maintenance Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Operator to join our team on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.

This role is integral to ensuring the reliable operation of our logistical hardware, software, and warehouse systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary Tasks
  • Ensure the effective and reliable functioning of all hardware and software components used within the logistical process.
  • Monitor hardware and software performance, responding promptly to faults or irregularities.
  • Carry out routine repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Work closely with the Systems & Administration Coordinator to optimise the performance and utilisation of logistical hardware.
  • Complete all administrative tasks associated with the logistical process accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify, report and help prevent potential risks and hazardous situations within the working environment.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Proactively develop personal skills and performance in line with role requirements.
  • Maintain a continuous focus on identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Provide operational support to other departments as needed.
