We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth and efficient running of daily warehouse operations. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high operational standards, and supporting the Shift Operations Manager to drive performance and foster a positive working environment across the shift.
Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 06:00-18:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate tasks and manage the team’s workload.
- Ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound deliveries and maintain all required documentation and system records.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Train and support the team, conduct shift briefings, and communicate operational updates.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Work closely with planning, engineering, and management teams to ensure effective coordination across the operation.
Requirements:
- Strong warehouse experience with a proven background in supervising or leading people.
- Solid understanding of warehouse processes.
- Confident using warehouse management systems.
- Clear and professional communication.
- Strong people skills, organized and proactive approach, ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- An FLT licence.
