Role purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Driver Debrief Clerk to join our busy Transport team in Corby.

The role is essential to ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly, safely, and in full regulatory compliance.

You will be the link between drivers and the transport operation, conducting pre- and post-shift briefings, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records to support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct end-of-shift debriefs with drivers, recording incidents, delays, and route completion.
  • Brief drivers before shifts on route details, schedules, safety protocols, and customer requirements.
  • Verify driver licences and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Process delivery notes, proof of delivery documents, and related transport paperwork within set deadlines.
  • Record and escalate driver absence trends where required.
  • Monitor, log, and track non-conformance issues for resolution.
  • Liaise with the transport planning team to address operational issues in real time.
  • Support customer service when needed, maintaining professional communication.

Qualifications and requirements
