Overview
In this role you will lead and shape a wide range of organisational development initiatives across the University to enable people capabilities in line with the Vision and Strategy. You will work with People Services and other faculties to design, deliver and evaluate OD and learning activities, embedding the University values and a culture of collaboration. The role emphasizes data-informed planning, stakeholder influence, and delivering changes that improve leadership, engagement and the colleague experience. It offers hybrid working, relocation support, and a clear opportunity to impact the University’s strategic people agenda.

Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to scope, design, deliver and evaluate OD initiatives across the University
- Lead university-wide OD projects and collaborate with People Services and others to meet strategic learning needs
- Support delivery of strategic leadership, talent and succession initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships to ensure high-quality service, cost efficiency and value
- Define measures of success and evaluate interventions against objectives
- Articulate and implement the University’s strategic narrative in engaging ways
- Design and embed OD and learning programmes aligned with the University values
- Align processes with employer brand and University values, ensuring needs drive offerings
- Lead on leadership, management and core skills development programmes
- Oversee colleague engagement including survey provision, communication and action planning
- Enhance integration of insight, data and intelligence from engagement activities
- Line manage OD team members and support their development; deputise for Senior roles
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in designing and delivering OD and learning interventions
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects within time and budget
- Experience delivering leadership, management development and coaching interventions at multiple levels
- Experience delivering team development and building collective leadership capability
- Experience supporting change and guiding culture change with measurable impact
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of employee engagement and engagement surveys
- Strong data analysis skills to inform service improvements
- Knowledge of psychometrics in development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and solve problems creatively
