Newcastle University is recruiting a Senior Research Associate to join the Marine, Offshore and Subsea Technology group and lead work on the ECHO glider project. You will oversee mechanical, electrical and hydraulic design, analysis and testing for autonomous marine vehicles at the Newcastle Marine Autonomous Vehicle Lab and Blyth Marine Station.
The role is full-time, on-site, with travel for field trials and partner meetings.
