Newcastle University invites applications for a fully funded PhD studentship in mitochondrial diseases. The project will apply single-cell proteomic and genomic technologies to understand disease mechanisms and identify molecular signatures across mitochondrial disorders.
Supervised by Professor Rob Taylor, Dr Sarah Pickett and Professor Gavin Hudson, the PhD provides training in multiomic data integration and translational approaches, with start date 1 November 2026.
