We invite applications for Lecturer – Professor level in Mathematical or Statistical Data Science within the Statistics and Data Science section of the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Physics at Newcastle University. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out excellent research and teaching in an area of Mathematical and/or Statistical Data Science that complements and strengthens the School’s existing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out excellent research and teaching in Mathematical and/or Statistical Data Science.
  • Act as a key contributor to the Data Science 2030 (DS2030) and AI2030 projects, helping to broaden the university’s data science and artificial intelligence offerings.
