Newcastle University is seeking an Economics academic to join the Economics Subject Group. The appointee will engage in research across macroeconomics, applied microeconomics, behavioural economics and economic theory, and will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The successful candidate will hold or be near a PhD and demonstrate the ability to publish in journals of international standing. Presentations are planned for the morning of 16 November 2026 with interviews that afternoon.
