Newcastle University is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the NIHR Innovation Observatory, based at Newcastle University. You will drive the technical direction of IO's in-house cloud platform that ingests, structures and delivers health innovation data for national horizon scanning.

The role focuses on infrastructure and systems engineering, ensuring robustness, scalability and maintainability across multi-year roadmaps while mentoring junior engineers and partnering with the Programme.
