The Role
We are expanding our IT Services and seeking a Business Analyst to contribute to the development of a service-led business analysis framework, validate and document knowledge, and support a range of transformational technology initiatives. This is a busy, high-volume but collaborative environment that values good organisation, attention to detail and team spirit. The role supports the delivery of quality business analysis activities and requires effective facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills in working with stakeholders across the University.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of a service-led business analysis framework based on industry standard best practices, including validating, documenting and disseminating business analysis-related knowledge.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality business analysis activities within technology initiatives through effective facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from across the University and regularly facilitate workshops in person and online using adaptable communication styles.
- Elicit, analyse and manage business requirements in both Waterfall and Agile projects, applying process analysis, design and improvement standards to solve business problems.
Qualifications/Experience
- Adept at delivering high-quality business analysis activities within technology initiatives, with experience in facilitation, negotiation and influencing.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and leading workshops (in person and online).
- Experience eliciting, analysing and managing business requirements in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
- Confidence applying process analysis, design and improvement standards and methods.
