In this role you will lead and contribute to applied reproductive health research within a multidisciplinary group. Responsibilities
- Develop and undertake reproductive health research to address health inequities
- Contribute ideas on methodologies and study design
- Assess findings for next steps and additional investigations
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day project activities, manage risks, support team objectives
- Attract external funding for research from peer-reviewed sources
- Lead on academic outputs, publications, and dissemination at conferences
- Lead knowledge mobilisation to maximise research impact
- Build relationships with health and care partners and community stakeholders
- Lead public involvement, engagement, and inclusive research activities
- Pursue professional development, training, and transferable skills
- Develop and maintain regional/national collaborations
- Attend group meetings and contribute to wider group activities
- Provide supervision and support to students and early-career researchers
- Understand university structures, policies, and research environment
Key requirements
- Track record in leading/contributing to mixed methods research in applied reproductive health with external partners
- Proven ability to analyse mixed methods data
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing external research funding as PI or co-Investigator
- Delivering research projects to deadlines with milestones
