About the role

Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in retail? Newcastle United is seeking a Web Development and Solutions Specialist to lead the development and optimisation of our retail technology landscape, enhancing operations both online and in-store. You will be responsible for managing development projects with internal and external agencies, ensuring our retail technology remains cutting edge within the sports industry.

Your impact

As a key driver of Newcastle United’s retail technology transformation, you’ll shape and deliver a future-facing eCommerce and omnichannel retail experience for our fans. You’ll lead the integration of systems across online and in-store platforms, manage the end-to-end delivery of major retail tech projects, and ensure seamless operations through the implementation of a new ERP system. Working closely with digital, marketing, and external partners, your strategic input and technical oversight will enhance the fan experience, optimise performance through data, and position the Club at the forefront of retail innovation.

About the team

You will work in the eCommerce team, collaborating with marketing, communications, and IT departments to deliver high-quality web experiences aligned with the club’s brand and strategic goals.

Location

This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
