About the role
People are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced Resourcing Business Partner to join our People & Talent team on a fixed term basis, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, inclusive recruitment across the Club during an exciting period of growth and change. This is a hands‑on, influential role where you’ll partner closely with leaders across the organisation, ensuring we attract the right capability, talent and potential to support both immediate priorities and long‑term ambitions.
What you’ll do
- Working closely with the broader People and Talent Team, you will play a key role in delivering a true business‑partnering approach to resourcing across Newcastle United.
- You’ll manage end‑to‑end recruitment activity across a varied portfolio, build proactive talent pipelines and help drive continuous improvement in how we attract and hire talent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with stakeholders across the Club to understand, plan and deliver current and future resourcing needs.
- Delivering end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns across both high‑volume and specialist roles.
- Building proactive talent pipelines using direct sourcing, LinkedIn, Meta AI and other channels.
- Supporting employer branding activity and acting as a brand ambassador.
- Leading on specific resourcing projects, such as early careers, hiring manager capability, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Using data and insight to improve time to hire, cost per hire and quality of hire.
- Supporting initiatives to reduce agency and temporary worker spend through innovative resourcing solutions.
- Coaching and upskilling hiring managers to ensure a consistent, inclusive recruitment experience.
What we’re looking for (essential):
- Significant in‑house experience as a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Business Partner.
- Proven experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple role types.
- Strong capability in building talent pipelines and sourcing both active and passive candidates.
- Demonstrable experience improving recruitment performance and candidate experience.
- Significant experience of senior headhunting and engagement.
- A collaborative, inclusive approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
