About the role
As Deputy Safety Officer, you will support the Safety Officer in the safe planning and delivery of matchday and event stewarding operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety of all supporters, staff, and visitors at events.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and organise all match and event stewarding operations, including planning, briefing, deployment and debriefing.
- Deputise for the Safety Officer when required.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure safe event delivery.
- Lead on investigations relating to spectator complaints and incidents.
- Support the development and review of policies and procedures.
- Contribute to new initiatives, trials, and continuous improvement projects.
