The Impact You’ll Make:
As App and Web Editor, you will manage daily operations and content curation of the Club\’s official mobile app and website. This includes publishing match-related and non-match content, that enhances the fan experience, drives app and web user growth, engagement, and retention. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the club’s digital presence, ensuring supporters worldwide remain informed, connected, and engaged with every development at the club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update daily content on the mobile app and website, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Publish live content such as match footage and audio commentary. Also, manage and update key features such as fixtures, results, and team line-ups.
- Schedule and deliver push notifications and in-app messages to communicate match events, news, and other updates.
- Work with content, marketing, and product teams to develop platform-specific features.
- Monitor and analyse content performance to inform content planning and improve user engagement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as monthly/daily active users (MAU/DAUs), retention rates, user acquisition, and engagement metrics.
- Work with Product Marketing Team to develop and implement strategies to engage fans through interactive features such as polls, quizzes, fan votes, and competitions.
- Liaise with product and development teams to improve user experience, implement new features, and enhance the Clubs app and website.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience in digital content creation and management within sport, media, or entertainment.
- Expertise in managing content through CMS platforms, with the ability to edit and format written, video, and audio content for mobile app and web use.
- Familiarity with mobile app and web management tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase), and app store optimization (ASO) best practices.
- Strong editorial judgment and copywriting skills with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality content output.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated content outputs.
