About the role
As Kit & Equipment Assistant, you’ll ensure all kit and equipment requirements are met to the highest standard, supporting players and staff across training sessions, matchdays, and tours. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and organisation are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of kit, equipment, and laundry for Newcastle United Women.
- Prepare and maintain kit for training and matches, ensuring everything is immaculate and ready on time.
- Set up and clear down dressing rooms for home and away fixtures.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventories.
- Drive the kit van to away fixtures and occasionally stay overnight with the team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and club policies.
Your impact
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
- Confident driver, comfortable with long-distance travel.
- Previous experience in a kit department within sport.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physically able to lift and move equipment.
