Newcastle United is looking for a talented and organised Creative Services Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis. You’ll be at the heart of our integrated Creative Team, ensuring the smooth delivery of multi-channel projects that bring the Newcastle United brand to life. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the club, turning their ideas into clear briefs and managing the end-to-end process - from concept to delivery.
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our creative team’s daily operations - making sure projects are assigned, coordinated, and delivered on time. You’ll be the go-to person, keeping communication open between all club departments so everyone stays connected and informed. Working closely with our Creative Director, you’ll manage the team’s workflow, resources, and capacity, always making sure the right designers are matched with the right projects. You’ll use project management tools to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
Building strong relationships will be key, whether you’re working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, or creative agencies. You’ll keep everyone updated, manage expectations, and handle feedback with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
What are we looking for?
- Substantial experience in project management, resource management, or traffic management - ideally in a creative or marketing environment.
- A knack for organisation, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused, action-oriented approach.
- Experience managing budgets, invoicing, schedules, and the delivery of creative assets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- Ideally, experience with design and production teams, and proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

The Newcastle United Creative Team is a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary group responsible for leading creative strategy, generating world-class ideation, and delivering exceptional design across all touchpoints. We support every department - from Football and Brand to Retail, Commercial, and Community - ensuring the club’s voice, identity, and ambition are expressed with clarity, originality, and craft.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
