About the role We’re looking for a Procurement Senior Buyer to support our Head of Procurement in the development and transformation of the newly established Procurement function. In the role you will lead formal commercial exercises, conducting benchmarking reviews, negotiating contractual terms and ensuring compliance with business policies and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. In the role, you’ll support departmental training/communication across the business to embed Procurement principles and practices in the day to day Club operations. Your impact You’ll have extensive experience in procurement delivery and be MCIPS qualified or working towards. You’ll have strong negotiation skills, be highly organised, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You’ll have proven experience managing projects in a complex, fast-paced organisation with strong budget management experience. About the team You’ll be part of the wider Finance team, working with our Head of Procurement. Working collaboratively with the wider business to embed the procurement process. Location This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office.
