About the role

As Kit & Equipment Assistant, you’ll ensure all kit and equipment requirements are met to the highest standard, supporting players and staff across training sessions, matchdays, and tours. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and organisation are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of kit, equipment, and laundry for Newcastle United Women.
  • Prepare and maintain kit for training and matches, ensuring everything is immaculate and ready on time.
  • Set up and clear down dressing rooms for home and away fixtures.
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventories.
  • Drive the kit van to away fixtures and occasionally stay overnight with the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and club policies.

Your impact

  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
  • Confident driver, comfortable with long-distance travel.
  • Previous experience in a kit department within sport.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physically able to lift and move equipment.
