About the role

As Deputy Safety Officer, you will support the Safety Officer in the safe planning and delivery of matchday and event stewarding operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety of all supporters, staff, and visitors at events.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and organise all match and event stewarding operations, including planning, briefing, deployment and debriefing
  • Deputise for the Safety Officer when required
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure safe event delivery
  • Lead on investigations relating to spectator complaints and incidents
  • Support the development and review of policies and procedures
  • Contribute to new initiatives, trials, and continuous improvement projects
