You will be providing instruction and a 'can do' attitude in our Learn to Swim Programme. An important team member, you will be familiar with the Learn to Swim Programmes and ensure that lesson changeovers are achieved in a professional and timely manner.

Salary & Work Hours

  • Salary: £28,142 per annum, pro-rata (£7,377 per annum) – Grade 5, SCP 11.
  • Hours: 9.75 hours per week – Saturday 8:45am to 12:30pm, Monday 3:45pm to 6:45pm, Wednesday 3:45pm to 6:45pm.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Location: Jubilee2, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

Requirements

  • Valid RLSS NPLQ or NRASTC, and a Nationally Recognised Swimming Teacher Qualification at Level 2.
  • Worked in a leisure facility/environment.
  • Previous experience delivering swimming lessons is desirable but not essential.
  • A Defibrillator Certificate or First Aid at Work qualification is also desirable.
