Deliver excellent customer service and expert advice on the gym floor. Work one‑to‑one with customers as part of our successful Active Life referral programme. Conduct initial consultations and inductions with clients, assessing their fitness levels and goals. Demonstrate safe operation of exercise machines and equipment within the gym. Create personalised fitness programmes to support our members’ goals. Ensure that the gym is kept in a clean and safe environment for all our customers. Work in a state‑of‑the‑art fitness facility. Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience in a busy leisure/fitness centre.
- Recognised fitness qualification (e.g., Level 3 Gym Instructor or above).
- First Aid qualification desirable.
- Great communication and people skills.
- Experience delivering group exercise classes.
- A genuine passion for health, fitness and wellbeing.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Salary & Hours
Grade 4 to 5 – £25,583 to £28,142 per annum, pro rata. Enhancements for weekend working (grade dependent on qualifications). 28 hours per week.
Working options:
- Monday 4.00 pm – 8.30 pm
- Tuesday 8.30 am – 1.00 pm
- Wednesday 4.30 pm – 9.00 pm
- Thursday OFF
- Friday 7.00 am – 2.30 pm
- Saturday 8.00 am – 3.00 pm
- Sunday OFF
Enhancements paid at 1.5× for weekend working.
