We have an exciting opportunity as a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship available at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council that will give you the chance to start or develop your career within data analysis. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to support the Strategic Hub in delivering the Council's wider Performance Framework, working to enhance process automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Organising data and reporting performance in line with the Council's priorities, plan and business cycle.
- Developing and analysing Power BI driven data dashboards required by services, senior management and elected members.
- Providing insight and support to relevant stakeholders, offering effective data analysis of the visualisations created.
The apprenticeship provides a great opportunity to grow and develop as a professional in a working environment, blending real work, real skills and real qualifications. You will work with a wide range of services and people across the council, enhancing your knowledge and skills within an enthusiastic organisation.
You will need to be able to undertake an apprenticeship course including travel to Birmingham for day release once per month.
Requirements
- Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft Office/365 packages is essential.
- Strong data organisation and reporting skills; ability to develop and analyse Power BI dashboards.
