Salary: Grade 6 - £28,598 to £31,022 per annum, plus monthly vehicle preparation £118.09 and wash-off payments. Plus enhanced bank holiday and weekend payments where applicable.

About the job: Our team delivers high quality services, with a strong customer service ethos and a positive culture that promotes the wellbeing and health and safety of our people. As a professional driver team leader you will lead a team of up to two crew members. You will have a strong team ethos motivating your own team as well as working closely with other team leaders and crews to ensure efficient service completion. Day to day you will be responsible for the completion of collection rounds and team health and safety, providing feedback relating to collections and any issues encountered, using the in-cab device and assisting with bin loading. You will have excellent customer service skills dealing with our residents in a polite and professional manner and will be able to explain our services confidently. We will pay for your ongoing CPC and training which will all be done during the working day. You will have a sound health and safety knowledge of the industry, and will ensure that safe systems of work and incident reporting procedures are always followed. If you are looking for an improvement to your work life balance, look no further. Here our drivers may start early but they also finish early (usually 2pm), giving you time to spend with family and friends or enjoying your favourite activities.
Requirements: Must be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required. You will have a current valid HGV Class 2/LGV C and current CPC card. Ideally, you will have experience of stop-start HGV driving and manoeuvring in residential areas, have worked on collection services before and used in cab technology such as Bartec Collective.
