About the Role

As Head of Transformation Management Office, you will lead the function responsible for governing and enabling successful transformation across the organisation.

You\'ll ensure that change activity is prioritised, governed, and delivered in a consistent, transparent, and strategic manner, and will be the critical link between ambition and execution. Being accountable for embedding the frameworks, you will provide insights and processes that enable the organisation to manage change, with control and confidence.

You will provide visibility of change activity, ensure alignment to strategic priorities, and support value realisation by tracking performance, benefits, and risks throughout the change life cycle at an enterprise level.

Working closely with the Head of Delivery, you will ensure initiatives are mobilised effectively and that operational teams are ready and enabled to adopt change. Leading our newly formed Change and demand planning team, who will shape the transformation pipeline and drive maturity across the wider function, supporting a culture of delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and organisational readiness for change

About You

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a senior leadership role with a recognised project and programme management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile certifications.

You will have a strong track record of providing governance, assurance, and transparency to enterprise-level change initiatives. You must demonstrate the ability to support and oversee the delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programmes using consistent methodologies, robust controls, and clear reporting mechanisms that provide visibility across the full change landscape whilst designing and embedding transformation frameworks that govern planning, risk, and performance.

You will have a deep understanding of change and demand planning, resource capacity modelling, and the sequencing of activities, allowing the organisation to prioritise and allocate resources effectively across initiatives and a proven ability to track and report on benefits realisation and value delivery is essential.

You must be adept at aligning priorities and coordinating efforts across multiple directorates, reducing duplication and ensuring cross-functional collaboration by leveraging your background in managing interdependencies and complex initiatives. Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential, including experience in developing robust business cases, monitoring investments, and tracking performance to ensure efficient use of resources.

The successful candidate will help drive data-informed decision-making and monitor delivery performance through advanced tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Power BI and be highly proficient in interpreting complex data and presenting insights to a diverse range of stakeholders to improve leadership visibility, accelerating issue resolution, and strengthening overall delivery governance.
