This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual with excellent communication and organisation skills to take on this role in the Finance department. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Finance and working alongside a multi-disciplined team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the Finance Office and the financial systems.

Duties are varied and include:

  • Monitoring and reconciliation of all bank accounts in line with a monthly timetable
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Generating monthly financial journals including accruals and prepayments

In addition to a good standard of general education you should be working towards a professional CCAB qualification along with previous experience of working in a finance environment. You will have a confident manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent MS Office Skills (Word and Excel) and will be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be an active and contributing member of a busy and innovative Finance team
  • To take an active role in the monitoring and reconciliation of all bank accounts in line with a monthly timetable
  • To generate monthly financial journals including accruals and prepayments
  • To undertake financial analysis to assist in the generation of monthly management accounts
  • To assist in the preparation of audited annual accounts

  • Has previous experience of working in a finance environment
  • Is working towards a professional CCAB qualification
  • Works with accuracy and pays attention to detail
  • Has the ability to organise own workload and to work to tight deadlines
  • Has excellent communication skills
