Overview

Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas

Salary: £13 – £18 per hour

Contract: 0 hour contracts, full time and part time hours available

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months

DBS Check: Online Enhanced DBS required

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team! As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily care needs, helping them lead fulfilling lives with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with various needs
  • Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Promote independence and help clients develop life skills
  • Administer medication and assist with health needs as required
  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes in the client’s condition to senior staff
  • Engage in social activities and support clients in the community

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a care/support role
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo an online DBS check)
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
