About the Role
We are collaborating with a well-established apprenticeship provider, rated Good by Ofsted, who is looking for an experienced Skills Coach to join their team. If you are passionate about supporting learners and helping them succeed, this role could be the perfect fit for you. This opportunity offers variety and job satisfaction, as you will be a key part of coaching and guiding apprenticeship learners on their journey, helping them reach their End-Point Assessment (EPA) and achieve career success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a caseload of up to 40 learners
- Conduct monthly remote coaching sessions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation via an e-learning platform
- Contribute to curriculum design and development of training programmes
- Support learners in achieving their Functional Skills in Maths and English
- Promote safeguarding, British values, and the Prevent agenda
- Commit to continuous professional development (CPD)
Person Specification
Experience:
- Extensive occupational competence in Management
- Proven experience in coaching individuals or teams in Leadership and Management Apprenticeship Programmes up to level 5
- Experience in teaching Maths and English up to Level 2 (desirable)
- Understanding of safeguarding practices
- Experience using e-portfolios
Qualifications:
- Recognised Assessor qualification (TAQA / CAVA / A1 / D32 / D33) – required
- Teaching qualification – required
- Level 5 Management qualification – desirable
