We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Projects Manager to lead the Airport's infrastructure development and capital investment programme. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects that will directly influence operational resilience, passenger experience, commercial growth and sustainability across the Airport estate. Working as a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Projects Department, overseeing the planning, development, procurement and delivery of major infrastructure and capital projects. From leading investment decisions and business case development through to construction, delivery and handover, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget while supporting the Airport's long-term ambitions. You will also play a key role in shaping future infrastructure strategy, building strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, consultants and contractors, and driving continuous improvement across project delivery.

We are looking for a strategic and inspirational leader with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure, construction or capital investment programmes within a highly regulated environment. You will bring:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale capital or infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
  • Strong project governance, risk management and stakeholder management expertise.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
  • The credibility and communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety legislation, CDM regulations and project delivery best practice.
  • The ability to balance operational priorities with long-term strategic objectives.
