About the role

We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our Passenger Services Team, working closely with terminal operations and business partners. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring all aspects of the hold baggage system, ensuring its safe and efficient operation. You will play a key part in maintaining seamless airport operations by promptly responding to issues and coordinating solutions to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating departmental activities by allocating and prioritising work, communicating effectively with colleagues, business partners, and supervisory staff, while managing the SCADA Control Hub.
  • Operating and monitoring the SCADA System, ensuring the smooth flow of checked-in baggage by promptly addressing faults and issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including completing daily belt reports, conducting pre- and post-equipment checks, and reporting all faults and defects to the Passenger Services Duty Manager (PSDM) and/or Airport Duty Manager (ADM).
  • Responding to operational interruptions, such as baggage belt blockages, and providing detailed explanations of the causes.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in line with the company’s customer service ethos, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
  • Collaborating with other departments and business partners to support seamless airport operations.
  • Promoting and adhering to health and safety standards, contributing to departmental and corporate safety objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards at all times.
