Full year role. Currently, regular hours available are:

  • Monday to Friday evenings (18.00 until 21.00)
  • Additional cover may also be required at times on Saturdays and Sundays (08:00-18:30) throughout the year and on other days during school holidays between 08:00 -21:00.

Evening and weekend hours could, occasionally, be later for one-off events.

Rate: £13.94 per hour

Newcastle High School for Girls, the North East’s leading independent girls’ day school, is seeking two Lettings Assistants, on a casual basis, to meet, greet and supervise regular and ad hoc lettings customers on weekday evenings throughout the year with the possibility of additional hours at weekends and during school holidays.

Working as part of a small team, under the direction of the Enterprises Manager, the successful candidate will take a front‑of‑house role, liaising with new and existing lettings customers, overseeing safe and respectful use of our premises and equipment and re‑setting and securing the premises at the end of each day. Ad‑hoc facilities maintenance, porterage and furniture and equipment re‑setting and other commercial and operational tasks may be required from time to time. NHSG is fully committed to providing training and support to the successful candidate.
