As a Product Manager at Newcastle Strategic Solutions Ltd (NSSL), you’ll play a key role in shaping and evolving our product propositions. You’ll be responsible for identifying gaps in our offering and turning ideas into reality, from initial concept and development through to launch and continuous improvement.

You’ll own specific products and propositions end‐to‐end, influencing strategy and delivering a clear, commercially focused roadmap driven by client insight, data, and iterative product management practices. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll ensure product design, delivery, and rollout are aligned to NSSL’s strategy and the wider Group purpose.

This is a hands‐on role where you’ll take accountability for outcomes, balancing customer needs, commercial value, and meeting regulatory requirements to deliver positive results for both internal and external customers.

About You

Experience of managing products across the full product management lifecycle is key for this role, including enhancing existing propositions and supporting new product launches. Much of the work will involve client‐driven product changes, so confidence managing frequent amendments, evolving requirements, and competing priorities is important.

Comfort working with technical teams and developers is essential. This includes shaping requirements, supporting delivery, and collaborating throughout development to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to both client needs and business strategy.

A good understanding of financial services products, or experience working within a regulated environment, is preferred. An interest in digital trends and the use of data and insight to improve products and customer outcomes will support success in the role.

The role suits someone able to operate effectively in a fast‐paced environment, managing ambiguity while maintaining focus on value and quality. Strong communication skills are important, particularly the ability to explain complex product or regulatory concepts clearly and tailor messages for different audiences, including senior stakeholders and external clients.

Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and commercial awareness are central to the role, alongside a clear understanding of risk management and regulatory responsibilities throughout the product lifecycle, including commercial impacts such as P&L drivers.

This role is Hybrid working with 2 days in our Cobalt office.
