As an interim IT Service Operations leader, you will provide stability, direction, and continuity across IT services. You will be responsible for ensuring that IT services are consistently reliable, well-governed, and aligned with regulatory and compliance standards, while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and business enablement.
In this role, you will oversee both day-to-day service operations and the effectiveness of service management practices. You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance service resilience, efficiency, and control, implementing practical improvements that deliver measurable value. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational delivery.
You will bring proven experience from regulated environments, applying best practices to embed robust governance, strengthen service performance, and ensure continuity across the IT landscape.
We are looking for an experienced IT service professional with a strong background in service delivery. You will have successfully operated within regulated environments, ideally Financial Services, and bring a proven ability to stabilise and enhance live service operations.
You should have a deep understanding of ITIL service management practices and a track record of driving meaningful service improvements. Comfortable working at both a strategic and hands-on level, you can quickly assess situations, prioritise effectively, and implement pragmatic solutions that deliver real impact.
Experienced in working with service reporting, MI, and operational insights, and understand the importance of governance, risk, and control frameworks you should also have the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
