About the role

As Delivery Manager you will lead the day‐to‐day delivery of client change initiatives across multiple client contracts. Working closely with Product Management and Technology Engineering teams, you will plan, prioritise and oversee the delivery of technically developed change, ensuring outcomes meet agreed standards, align with client requirements, and that effort and cost are tracked and translated into revenue.

You will manage the full client initiative lifecycle, including requirements, planning, release dates, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting, applying appropriate governance and delivery controls throughout. Acting as a key liaison with client delivery teams, you will lead transition and handover activities to enable delivery at pace and ensure clear client acceptance of delivered initiatives.

Operating in a matrix environment, you will collaborate with cross‐functional teams, business sponsors and stakeholders, keeping colleagues engaged and informed. You will apply the most appropriate delivery approach (e.g. Waterfall or Agile), develop clear delivery plans with resource and financial visibility, manage risks and interdependencies, and support the development of Product and Client Change roadmaps, change readiness and value‐focused outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced Delivery Manager with a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent change initiatives within a fast‐paced, regulated environment. You have worked across adaptive delivery frameworks, including Waterfall, Agile and end‐to‐end Product Lifecycle Management, and understand how to apply the right approach to different delivery contexts.

You have experience leading cross‐functional delivery teams in matrix‐managed environments and working closely with Operational and Technology teams to ensure clear ownership and a strong focus on delivering value for clients.

You bring strong applied knowledge of delivery planning, RAIDD / RAPID management, governance compliance and reporting. You are confident using tools such as MS Project, JIRA, MS Planner and data visualisation tools (e.g. MS Power BI) to ensure delivery information is accurate, transparent and accessible.

You are highly effective at stakeholder engagement and communication, able to influence up to Senior Management level and bring people together around shared goals. You are comfortable in client‐facing environments and understand your impact on the Society’s reputation.

You also have strong experience leading people through change, including business and technical readiness, client readiness and change management, alongside a solid understanding of demand and capacity planning, financial planning and risk‐based priority management.
