We are working with a Voluntary Sector Organisation undertaking youth and community programme work in areas of North Tyneside. We are looking for a Youth and Community Worker to support the development and delivery of their work in North Tyneside.

Responsibilities
  • To develop and deliver high quality youth and community work provision.
  • To build and maintain professional relationships with children and young people that support the principles of youth work.
  • To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
  • Comply with requirements with regards to health and safety, security, finances and all other matters subject to company policies and partner organisations policies.
  • Due to the nature of this role, tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied; therefore, this job description is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities but is intended to reflect a range of duties the post-holder will perform in line with their remuneration.
