This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we work to deliver major transport improvement schemes not just in Newcastle, but also working with partners in the other north east local authorities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Traffic Signals Technician. The role involves:
- Installation and maintenance of traffic signals across the Northeast of England.
- Assisting in the delivery of specific projects.
- Methodical and accurate approach to installation and fault diagnosis, with proven ability to deliver services to programme.
- Confidence and competence in using IT systems to record and implement actions.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload.
- Required to work unsocial hours on a rota basis as part of the out of hours standby cover.
