Newcastle City Council's SEND Sensory Service is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf to join from January 2027. The role initially bases at a Primary Specialist Base – Deafness, supporting deaf children with a wide range of needs.
QToD or experienced mainstream teachers willing to undertake the two-year Mandatory Qualification in Deaf Education are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have SEND leadership experience (SENCo) or equivalent, and contribute to coordinated assessment and EHCP
