Simonside Primary School is seeking to appoint Support Assistants Level 2 to join our team.
The governors and staff of our vibrant and welcoming primary school are seeking to appoint hardworking and enthusiastic Support Assistants who have a passion for supporting children’s learning.

We are looking for someone who:
- is an outstanding and motivated Teaching Assistant who can help raise levels of achievement for all children
- has high aspirations for themselves and our children and can demonstrate commitment and initiative
- will be an enthusiastic, caring and positive role model
- works extremely well as part of a team and communicates effectively with all stakeholders
- has high expectations of behaviour and is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of our children
- has experience in the teaching of phonics
- can support children on a 1:1 basis where required

Simonside Primary School has Academy status and is one of eight schools within ONE (Owl North East) Trust, which is committed to providing the highest quality support for teaching and learning. The employer will be the Trust, and you will be based at Simonside Primary School.
At the request of ONE Trust, you may be required to conduct your duties elsewhere to facilitate learning or social activities off the school premises. The Trust reserves the right to change your area of work, temporarily or otherwise, as may be required, subject to reasonable notice and prior consultation with you.
