We’re on an exciting journey to create a council that’s modern, resilient, and ready for the future – one that makes a real difference for everyone who lives, works, and visits Newcastle. In order to support this journey, we’ll be delivering a transformation programme aligned to our Medium-Term Financial Plan, supporting key themes to help with the programme.
We have an opportunity to build HR Business Partner capacity on a temporary basis to help support ongoing work of our energetic operational HR Service as well as supporting some of the delivery work linked to the transformation programme.
As part of HR Operations, you will join a supportive and dedicated team, where positive sharing of experience and learning is valued and welcomed.
We would like to hear from you if you are a HR Professional with experience in two or more areas of HR work such as casework; employee relations; organisational development; organisational reviews or HR policy development. You will have experience and ability to use your skills and experience, alongside your up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, case law and to provide bespoke and tailored advice to managers and services supporting and enabling them to deliver better outcomes within timescale.
Skills and experience in job design and job evaluation will be advantageous in this role when supporting with service review work, however, this is not essential as training will be provided.
