You will help ensure our services remain responsive, customer-focused and aligned to the Council's wider strategic priorities, delivering positive outcomes for residents while meeting our statutory responsibilities.
The Role
As Housing Options Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Housing Options Service, ensuring the effective delivery of housing register management, reviews and appeals, and specialist housing assessments.
Leading a team of skilled professionals, you will be responsible for driving service performance, maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policy and regulatory requirements. You will oversee complex decision-making processes, provide expert advice and guidance, and ensure services are delivered consistently, fairly and transparently.
As a member of the management team, you will contribute to service planning, policy development and transformation activity, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance the customer experience and deliver value for money.
