Waverley Primary School is looking to appoint a Facilities Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team. The successful candidate will work in and around the building site to ensure the school is fit for purpose.

We are looking for someone who:

  • You will be required to undertake basic site management of the internal and external building, have knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in schools and be able to carry out basic repairs of damaged or defective equipment or resources.
  • Experience of working in a school environment is desirable. A pleasant, patient demeanour together with an ability to work at speed accurately to deadlines, to manage time effectively and to keep smiling is essential.

Waverley Primary has Academy status and is one of eight schools within ONE (Owl North East) Trust, which is committed to providing the highest quality support for teaching and learning; the employer will be the Trust.

You will be based at Waverley Primary School. At the request of the ONE Trust, you may be required to conduct your duties elsewhere to facilitate learning or social activities off the school premises. The Trust reserves the right to change your area of work, temporarily or otherwise, as may be required, subject to reasonable notice and prior consultation with you. Please also note that this post is subject to a six-month probationary period.
