We are seeking an Employee Services Officer to join our dynamic team within a Payroll and HR Administration environment providing services to the Council, Schools, Trusts and Multi Academies Trusts. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
About the Role:
As an Employee Services Officer, you will manage the full employment lifecycle from onboarding new starters to processing leavers, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Posting job adverts and supporting managers through the full onboarding process.
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll, including additional hours, allowances, and contractual changes.
- Managing HR administration tasks such as issuing contracts and maintaining employee records.
- Monitoring sickness, maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave.
- Providing excellent customer care and meeting tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in HR administration or payroll.
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
